Biomass Training
With the increasing complexity of biomass appliances and heating systems, HETAS has provided an additional course to provide the information needed for
this type of installation.
The course is to be run on the
17th to the 20th February.
The course provides background information to enable the engineer to carry out
feasibility studies, professionally advise the client, consider fuel type and storage
options as well as design systems and installations to suit the varying site
circumstances.
Successful completion of this theoretical and practical course will allow a
HETAS registered engineer to extend their registration categories to include
mechanically fed appliances in Category 5 Specialist Company, without the need
to go abroad to a manufacturers course. (Note:- the contents of this course goes
beyond the normal manufacturers product familiarisation courses).
Entry Requirements
Delegates must have completed a 3 day HETASEngineers course and a Part G un-vented hot water
course before attending this course. Proof of this will be
required when booking the course (or before attendance if it is
intended to attend such courses between booking and
attendance).
