HETAS Inspector (Full Time)

HETAS is currently looking for a full time inspector to fill the role of coordinating and undertaking of inspections for their competent persons registration scheme.

The full time role will be based at our offices near Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. The role will involve the organization and occasional undertaking of routine, pre-registration and complaint inspections of businesses registered on the HETAS competent persons registration scheme. He/she will also be responsible for assisting with the co-ordination and supervision of our regional and sub-contracted inspection services.

The inspector must have considerable solid fuel, wood and biomass knowledge and experience in both dry and in wet C/H and H/W systems. There is also a requirement for the applicant to be proficient in technical issues relating to chimneys, flues and other appropriate technical areas. All applicants must have excellent organisational skills, a clean driving license and be prepared to travel and stay away overnight on occasions.
