Appliances Listed in HETAS Guide and HETAS Web-guide
The HETAS guide of approved wood and solid fuel burning products and services is updated every year to give details and guidance on a wide selection of solid fuel products and services. The guide is distributed to local authorities, installers, sweeps, stove shops and merchants.
Approved products in the HETAS guide are listed alongside fuels and equipment for burning solid fuel and wood and also listed alongside installers and sweeps. As well as the HETAS paper based guide updated and distributed every year to over an initial 6000 people, they have also introduced a new Interactive web-guide that will be regularly updated and be made available as either an online version or contained on a Compact Disk.
The Electronic version of the guide includes several improvements over the annual printed copy, these include both the option for manufacturers to include images of the approved products and direct links back to the product manufacturer’s website.
