  1. The term ‘advertiser’ as used in these conditions means the party who books the space in the publication and is responsible for payment and providing the copy/artwork.
  2. The term ‘advertisement’ as used in these conditions means the artwork advert copy provided to HETAS for publication on the HETAS website, in the HETAS E-News or in the second edition HETAS Technical Handbook and updates to the first edition by the advertiser.
  3. The term ‘HETAS’ refers to the editorial team working on the HETAS Technical Handbook, website and E-News. We have constructed the Technical Handbook update as part of our continued efforts to improve the Handbook as an industry document and maintain the HETAS website and E-News to provide clarity and value to our registered businesses. For any questions please do feel free to contact marketing@hetas.co.uk.
  4. These conditions shall apply to all advertisements appearing in or distributed within the HETAS Technical Handbook, HETAS E-News & HETAS Website. Where specific conditions apply this will be stated.

  15. Adverts submitted after the given deadlines may possibly appear in the Technical Handbook but in this case will be charged at the given rate plus an additional rate that reflects any additional work and expense arising from the late submission. In this instance the advertiser agrees to pay the stated advert price plus any expenses incurred by or from HETAS as a result of aiding in the artwork, at the discretion of HETAS.
  18. Subsequent alterations to adverts will be accepted at the absolute discretion of HETAS. Changes to advertisements should be provided to HETAS by the deadline date without appeal from HETAS. In the event an amended advert is not received by the deadline date HETAS will proceed to print with the earlier version and the advertiser agrees to pay the agreed full rate.
