This year, Greenbuild Expo will be bigger than ever and will have even more to offer its visitors. With an extensive conference programme featuring over 100 seminars – all free – Greenbuild Expo 2014 will provide comprehensive coverage for all sectors of the built environment. Launched in 2009 and hosted at Manchester Central on the 7th and 8th May, Greenbuild has quickly grown to be the biggest sustainable building event in the north of England, attracting all sectors of the built environment from all over the UK.
The conference programme will once again include a focus on the impact of the Green Deal, updates on ECO, sustainable refurbishment and the much anticipated domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI). We will also be taking a wider look at topics such as retrofit, flooding, smart buildings, sustainable cities and renewable energy.
The Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) will also continue their RHI Roadshow at Greenbuild. DECC will be presenting the whole house offer available under the RHI & Green Deal from a dedicated zone at Greenbuild. Furthermore, with new tariffs and technologies expected for the non-domestic RHI, DECC will also cover the commercial opportunities on offer along with updates on the domestic RHI
Greenbuild will also be welcoming back Ignition, the UK’s only woodfuel event. With this market set to be boosted by the arrival of the domestic RHI, a visit to this part of the show will ensure you are fully aware of the latest developments in technology, legislation and the opportunity in this growing industry.
