MCS – have your say
The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) is consulting on updates to many of the MCS standards and documents. Outlined below are some of the documents being consulted on. There is a response form for each document that must be used if you want to provide any comments. These comments must be submitted to MCSconsultations@gemserv.com with the name of the document in the subject of the email.
For installers of biomass appliances the key consultation documents include:
- MIS3004 – Biomass Standard
- MCS008 – Product Certification Scheme Requirements – Biomass
- MCS Domestic RHI Metering Guidance
- MCS Scope – Consultation on 45kW Scope – Biomass
Solar thermal consultations include:
- MIS3001 – Solar Heating Standard
- MCS Scope – Consultation on 45kW Scope – Solar Thermal
A full list of consultations currently available can be found on the Microgeneration Certification website. All comments must be submitted by 31st October 2013 and must be submitted using the response forms available on the MCS website.
