Notifications are changing
We have been listening to your feedback on the HETAS online notification system and we have been working hard to make things easier for you. Over the next few weeks we expect to be launching our new and improved system.
Notifying work is a key part of your requirements as a registered installer. We are testing a replacement on-line notification system, which will improve the process for you as a registered installer. The new system will be an integral part of the HETAS website and accessed via your HETAS login, eliminating the need for additional passwords in the current standalone system.
When the system goes live in a few weeks’ time you will need your login for the HETAS Technical Area. If you haven’t accessed the Technical Area of the website recently or have forgotten your password, please get in touch with the team on firstname.lastname@example.org and we can issue you with a reset password.
There will be a short period of downtime while we switch over to the new system. Right now is traditionally our quietest time for online notifications, so we want to get everything switched over ready for the winter season. Any unused on-line credits on your account will then be transferred to the new system.
You can of course continue to submit postal notifications as usual during this time.
We have a dedicated page on the HETAS website at www.hetas.co.uk/notification-system-downtime where we will keep you updated on timelines and developments.
We will keep you informed on development of the new system and the implications for you. We will publish a simple guide to the new system with details of the features available.
