HETAS Statement
As of October 11, 2023, HETAS has stepped down from its position with ENplus® as a recognised Certification Body. As a not-for-profit Organisation (Company Limited by Guarantee without share capital) we found that it was no longer sustainable for us to continue our role without significant impact on the value provided to our stakeholders and the expectations we are held accountable for as a certification body in providing a viable solution and services to meeting pellet quality legislation here in the UK under the European Pellet Councils new requirements.
Our firm commitment is to support our existing certificated participants and collaborate with ENplus®, and any other related Certification Bodies during this transition period to ensure a smooth handover of responsibilities. Our contracted commitment to ENplus® as a certification body is until 10th January 2024.
