Applicants for the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) with biomass boilers must submit an emissions certificate or environmental permit for their boiler with their application. If you cannot find the certificarte you are looking for on the RHIECLIST website, the new process can assist you.

Ofgem has seen that some applications have had difficulty in getting acceptable certificates for their boilers so they have created the certificate template below to help testing laboratories ensure all air quality information they require is included when a certificate is issued. Please pass this template to your manufacturer to alert them to what you need.

This certificate has recently been updated but previous versions of this template may still be used and submitted as part of your application.

For tips on how to complete the certificate, see the Ofgem update for biomass boiler applicants.
