Sussex Air Survey for Domestic Wood & Coal Use

Sussex Air, a partnership of all district councils in Sussex, is looking to gather information about solid fuel (wood & coal) use in the region.

The purpose of the partnership is to:​

  • Help Local Authorities to meet their statutory obligations to assess and report on local air quality.​
  • Provide information to the public on air quality in their area.​​
  • Develop and deliver projects to improve local air quality and to reduce people’s exposure to poor air quality. ​

The partnership is currently undertaking a survey to gain a greater understanding of solid fuels in the region.

There is also a prize draw to win dried hardwood logs from Certainly Wood logs worth £195 or one of 100 wood moisture meters.

The survey should take around 10 minutes. The closing date for submissions is 10 December 2019.
