SALES EXECUTIVE

FIXED TERM FOR 6 MONTHS, FULL TIME

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Sales Executive to join our busy team based in Tewkesbury. This is an exciting position for an individual who is enthusiastic about delivering exceptional sales service and liaising with people at all levels. As this role is predominantly phone based, you will need to be an excellent communicator with a proven sales or customer service background. This role is office based.

Reporting into the Sales & Service Manager, this varied position will be to answer incoming enquiries from prospective business surrounding Solid Fuel, together with outbound sales calls promoting the benefits of the Woodsure schemes and subsequent registration.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Outbound Sales calls – promoting the benefits of the scheme
  • Lead Generation and follow up calls
  • Updating in-house computer system accordingly
  • Providing First Class Customer Service
  • Replying to customers and sales emails 
  • Sourcing information and providing guidance
  • Administration duties

TRAINEE TECHNICAL ADVISOR

PERMANENT, FULL TIME

Due to continued growth, an exciting development opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Support Advisor. Working as part of the technical department, the successful candidate will be supporting and assisting with technical queries that relate to biomass and solid fuel installations, product approval and technical projects within HETAS. This position may suit an individual who has an interest in the environment and/or heating sector, although this is not essential. More importantly we are looking for an individual with a positive attitude and aptitude and a willingness to learn about the industry.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Working as part of the technical team, assist with technical queries within HETAS
  • Provide relevant technical support and liaison to other HETAS departments
  • Receive regular information on changes to legislation and HETAS policies and update technical advice accordingly
  • Liaise with and provide information to external industry organisations. Advise them of HETAS requirements, changes, and developments so that HETAS and its registrants are promoted positively
  • Support the technical co-ordinator in reporting of enquiries, analysing statistics and highlight trends
  • Undertake administrative tasks supporting the technical team where required
  • Assist in the technical evaluation of products against the audit checking process and documentation provided by the applicant

Skills, knowledge & experience:

  • Experience of office administration  
  • A strength in Maths and a Science based subject is desirable  
  • A willingness to learn and continue their personal development within HETAS

TECHNICAL HELPLINE ADVISOR

PERMANENT, FULL TIME

Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for a Technical Helpline Advisor to join the HETAS technical team. Working as part of the technical department, the successful candidate will be assisting with response to technical queries that relate to biomass and solid fuel installations, review of inspection cases and additional technical projects within HETAS. This position will suit an individual who has previous experience working within the solid fuel heating sector and may be looking for a change in environment to support a growing company’s objectives for a safer and cleaner future. More importantly we are looking for an individual with a positive attitude and aptitude and a willingness to continue to learn about the industry.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Working as part of the technical team, resolving technical queries within HETAS
  • Provide relevant technical support and liaison to other HETAS departments
  • Receive regular information on changes to legislation and HETAS policies and update technical advice accordingly
  • Liaise with and provide information to external industry organisations. Advise them of HETAS requirements, changes, and developments so that HETAS and its registrants are promoted positively
  • Undertake review of inspection reports, supporting the complaints and inspections team where required
  • Assist in the technical evaluation of products against the audit checking process and documentation provided by the applicant

Skills, knowledge & experience:

  • Relevant experience in Domestic Heating/Plumbing and/or Biomass is desirable
  • Relevant qualification (NVQ/City & Guild/HETAS/Technical experience) is essential
  • Broad knowledge of Building Regulation requirements, BSI standards, Environmental regulations, Health & Safety Act, and associated provisions of the construction industry is desirable

REGISTRATION SUPPORT OFFICER

FULL TIME, FIXED TERM FOR 6 MONTHS

HETAS have a fantastic opportunity for a Registration Support Officer to join our friendly team at our offices in Tewkesbury. Although this role is fixed term, you will be joining our team at an exciting time of growth for the business and there is plenty of opportunity for development within the role and the wider team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering excellent customer service and will be a true team player, able to demonstrate a proactive and flexible work approach.

Role

The role sits within our registration team, reporting to the Lead Registration Officer.  The primary function is to provide comprehensive support across scheme registration activities for Woodsure and HETAS. You will be responsible for the co-ordination and administration of registrations and renewals whilst delivering a first-class customer service to our internal and external customers.  

Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • To undertake administrative and certification tasks supporting all areas of the business.
  • Process appropriate certification documentation for all applications and renewals:
  • Office duties/clerical processes
  • Application processes in line with Scheme requirements for applications
  • Apply all relevant standards and how they can be met
  • Make recommendations and forward to the Decision Maker
  • Carrying out a recommendation, assessment, and evaluations on behalf of the certification schemes.
  • Effectively utilise the database and Microsoft Office software packages including Word, Excel, Outlook etc. to support administrative processes.
  • To promote Schemes and services via sales activities whenever possible
  • To prioritise workload to maximise the benefits to our customers
  • Suggest improvements to the database and schemes where possible
  • Liaise directly with all registration applicants of all aspects of their application

Skills, Knowledge, Experience

  • Previous experience of working in a busy office environment

FINANCE ASSISTANT

HETAS have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join their small accounts team due to continued growth within the business.  The ideal candidate will already have experience of working within an accounts team and be familiar with Purchase and Sales Ledger processing.  Good communication skills and Excel skills are essential.  Knowledge of Sage accounting will be an advantage as well has having part or full AAT qualification.

DIGITAL AND PRINT DESIGNER

Due to continued growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Digital and Print Designer to join our team at our friendly office based in Tewkesbury. You will be joining us at an exciting time of growth for the business and there is plenty of opportunity for personal development within the role. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and new technologies and able to demonstrate a proactive and flexible work approach.

Role

You will be part of an inhouse team of two Designers within the Marketing Department but will work on projects across all departments; the work is varied so no day will be the same. There is some scope for creativity with certain jobs, but you will also be asked to produce technical diagrams and documents with very specific instructions.

At least one year’s experience ideally as an inhouse designer, or in a design agency, but a candidate with an excellent portfolio and a demonstrable capability to learn will also be considered.

Main duties include but are not limited to:

  • Creating print documents and digital pdfs
  • Creation of animation and videography for use across websites and social media platforms
  • Producing digital assets for the company’s websites
  • Production of technical drawings
  • Communicating the brand message of HETAS, Woodsure and Ready to Burn through design

Essential Skills and experience:

  • Strong skills in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator

SENIOR ADMINISTRATOR

PERMANENT, FULL TIME

Due to continued growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Administrator to join our team at our friendly office based in Tewkesbury. You will provide administration support to the senior management team, arranging meetings, taking minutes, report and presentation amalgamation, ad-hoc projects, oversee day-to-day running of the office functions.

Main duties include but are not limited to:

  • Arrange and attend company meetings, prepare minutes and distribute in a timely manner, including board meetings, contract meetings, roundtables, advisory meetings, manager and staff meetings and arranging Christmas Party
  • Accumulation of reports for meetings, chasing as necessary
  • Sourcing and securing suitable meeting venues and any travel arrangements

Role:

Providing administrative and logistics support to the Business Development and Sales Team and liaise with external businesses to gather accurate data and sales leads.

Main duties include but are not limited to:

  • Research and collect information for market and competitor analysis.
  • Maintain and update sales pipeline, referral list and lead information.
  • Provide administration, coordination, data analysis.
  • Prepare performance reports for the management team

WOODSURE REGISTRATIONS MANAGER

Role:

To manage the day-to-day delivery of registration schemes and nominated contracts. To proactively identify growth opportunities and process efficiencies and bring a commercial awareness aligned to an acute understanding of performance.

Main duties include but are not limited to:

  • Successful management for retention of schemes and nominated contracts
  • Successful management of the resource according to business and individual needs
  • Contribution to business planning and growth in registration revenues against KPI’
  • Consulting stakeholders on performance and / or escalation of major issues/developments
  • Contribute to business planning and budgeting, and regularly review performance
  • To directly manage reports whose works relates in a majority to the processes and support of Woodsure schemes
