SALES EXECUTIVE

PERMANENT, FULL TIME

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Sales Executive to join our busy team based in Tewkesbury. This is an exciting position for an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional sales service and liaising with people at all levels. As this role is predominantly phone based, you will need to be an excellent communicator with a proven sales or customer service background. This role is office based; however, we will continue to work in line with government guidelines on homeworking when required.  

Reporting into the Sales & Service Manager, this varied position will be to answer incoming enquiries from prospective business surrounding Solid Fuel, together with outbound sales calls promoting the benefits of HETAS and Woodsure schemes and subsequent registration.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Outbound Sales calls – promoting the benefits of the scheme
  • Lead Generation and follow up calls
  • Updating in-house computer system accordingly
  • Providing First Class Customer Service
  • Replying to customers and sales emails 
  • Sourcing information and providing guidance
  • Administration duties

Skills & Attributes:

  • A friendly & professional telephone manner with great interpersonal / communication skills

MARKETING ASSISTANT

PERMANENT, FULL TIME

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Assistant to join the team based in Tewkesbury to develop your creative skills in a dynamic, ambitious, and supportive environment. This exciting position would suit an individual who is self-motivated and enthusiastic with excellent creative and communication skills and a passion for the world of marketing. This role is reporting into our Marketing Manager and will be office based; however, we will continue to work in line with government guidelines on homeworking when required.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Working alongside the Marketing and Development team together with wider business managers to deliver both print and digital marketing support across the business
  • Designing mailshots for business development activity, and creating specific marketing and social campaigns
  • Creating content for PR and marketing materials eg: brochures, newsletters etc. to help the business to retain existing customers or win new prospect customers
  • Social media across our suite of social channels, using management platforms.
  • Other ad hoc duties

REGISTRATION SUPPORT OFFICER

PERMANENT, FULL TIME

a fantastic opportunity for a Registration Support Officer to join our friendly team at our offices in Tewkesbury. You will be joining our registration support team at an exciting time of growth for the business and there is plenty of opportunity for development within the role and the wider team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering excellent customer service and will be a true team player, demonstrating a proactive and flexible work approach.

ROLE

This role sits within our registration team, reporting to the Lead Registration Officer.  The primary function is to provide comprehensive support across scheme registration activities for Woodsure and HETAS. You will be responsible for the co-ordination and administration of registrations and renewals whilst delivering a first-class customer service to our internal and external customers.  Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  

  • To undertake administrative and certification tasks supporting all areas of the business.
  • Process appropriate certification documentation for all applications and renewals:
  • Office duties/clerical processes
  • Application processes in line with Scheme requirements for applications
  • Apply all relevant standards and how they can be met
  • Make recommendations and forward to the Decision Maker
  • Carrying out a recommendation, assessment, and evaluations on behalf of the certification schemes.
  • Effectively utilise the database and Microsoft Office software packages including Word, Excel, Outlook etc. to support administrative processes.
  • To promote Schemes and services via sales activities whenever possible
  • To prioritise workload to maximise the benefits to our customers
  • Suggest improvements to the database and schemes where possible
  • Liaise directly with all registration applicants of all aspects of their application

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience of working in a busy office environment
  • Excellent administration skills
  • Experience of working in a customer focussed environment
  • Good time management skills and an ability to prioritise workload
  • Good IT skills, including MS Office and experience of using other internal databases
  • Clear and concise communication skills, with an ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders

ASSISTANT MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

PERMANENT, FULL TIME

Due to continued growth, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our busy Finance team. Reporting into the Head of Finance, this role will suit someone who ideally has completed their AAT, and has experience of management accounts production. You will need to be organised and methodical in your approach and be able to work effectively as part of a small but expanding team. This role is office based in Tewkesbury; however, we will continue to work in line with government guidelines on homeworking when required.  

The role:

The purpose of this role is to oversee and prioritise daily activity within designated areas of the accounts, ensuring that all reconciliations are complete and that all required transactions are entered on time.  This includes processing sales, purchases, bank transactions, prepayments, accruals, calculations for deferred income, working to trial balance level and to include balance sheet reconciliations.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Experience of working to trial balance level and including sales, purchase ledger, bank processing
  • Possessing full or part relevant accounting qualification, or equivalent experience.
  • Develop an understanding of the industry, its stakeholders, and the business environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Good knowledge of Sage and other IT (PC) and standard software like MS Office
  • People skills and an ability to work both within a team and alone when required
  • Ability to prioritise own workload and to ensure all processing is completed on time to allow production monthly reporting
